I’m back, for real

Hey, so I’ve been abandoning this blog for quite sometime (7 months to be exact) but fear not this time i’m back for sure. So what’s been happening to me throughout this period?

1. I’m currently studying in university
2. Left my work for reason no. 1

Two reasons, total. Probably could’ve come up with more but I think everybody prefer things to be concise. Oh did I mention I finally got a camera in the form of D40 so I can finally shoot some decent picture (hopefully). So everybody, yoroshiku onegaishimasu once again

Uni life is overrated, btw.

Am I Dead?

God knows how long since I last blogged here. Been pretty occupied with illness, work, lessons and other life stuff but rest assured I am still alive although I am not sure whether the same can be said for my wallet.

This month proves to be the heaviest spending month ever on DVDs + figurines. Luckily some got delayed and that gave me more time to slave and pay for it.

Anyway This month’s dvd includes

1. Shakugan no Shana The Movie Director’s cut
2. Code geass Vol 08
3. Code geass Vol 09 (end)

ODEX’s Haruhi Subtitle is 99% similar to A.F.K.’s

Just when the Odex saga is starting to quiet down, another sucker punch came punching(to them not us). As reported by Sekai wa. Utsukushii deshou?, we can see that 99% of ODEX subtitles matches that of A.F.K’s. Coincidence? Me thinks not. Just try asking your bilingual friends to translate a conversation and you can never get the same. Anyway here’s the pictorial evidence, again courtesy of Sekai wa. Utsukushii deshou?. If you are wondering, Haruhi is currently airing in starhub cable vision channel 56 which is the source of the images.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII First Impression

WOO Finally its out and I am currently playing it on my psp. So far the graphic is mindblowing although I am not a fan of the D.M.W aka Digital Mind Wave aka the slot system. For your information, Crisis Core is not locked to FW 3.70 and 3.40 works just fine for it. Just remember to set the processor speed higher or it’ll stutter.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

With days ticking by and the new trailer to remind us of this awesome game, I can barely hold my anticipation. September 13 2007 has been decided as the release date for the Japanese version although its still TBA for the other versions. Crisis core is the prequel to Final Fantasy VII released 10 years ago on the PlayStation console. I can safely say my favorite RPG by far is Final Fantasy VII and thats the reason I bought my PlayStation. PlayStation 2 soon follows due to Final Fantasy 10 and I predict PlayStation 3 is coming when it is nearing Final Fantasy 13 release date. I am such a fanboy.

PacNet > Starhub, Singnet, ODEX

In an unexpected twist of event, Pacific Internet, arguably the smallest with the least resources as compared to the big two(Starhub and Singnet) won its case against ODEX of which 1000 names of its subscribers are on the line.

Prick

Earlier I mentioned that there’ll be a CD recycling drive organised by ODEX rebellion but it seems that it is canceled. From what I’ve seen the author of the blog just wants to see “show” but doesn’t wish to be involved or associated with the participants at all. I dont want to turn this into a flaming post but seriously, that guy is a bloody prick.
